The Code of Conduct and Ethics defines the expected framework of behavior for employees, contractors, suppliers, clients, board members, and other stakeholders. It enables the organization to move toward high standards of quality in the provision of healthcare services, based on principles of social and environmental responsibility, transparency, equality, and respect.
At our organization, we are continuously working to strengthen an organizational culture based on ethical behavior, where people come first. We strive to promote business growth through honest and transparent practices, convinced that this is the only way to achieve strategic objectives and long-term sustainability for the benefit of users and the entire Social Security Health System.
CENTRO ONCOLÓGICO DE ANTIOQUIA S.A.S. hereby adopts, in its entirety, the Code of Conduct and Ethics of the Quirónsalud Group, with the following clarifications:
- The term “professional or professionals” is understood to be equivalent to “employee or employees,” “physician or physicians,” or any other service provider.
• Regarding the whistleblower channel, Centro Oncológico de Antioquia S.A.S. has an ethics line that can be accessed at the following link https://coa.com.co/linea-de-transparencia/ where any violation of the Quirónsalud Group’s Code of Conduct and Ethics can be reported.
- Centro Oncológico de Antioquia S.A.S. has the following mission and vision:
- Mission: To care for oncology patients with a team of medical, healthcare, and administrative professionals committed to delivering their full technical and scientific capabilities in a humanized manner.
- Vision: To be the leading oncology center in the department of Antioquia and a national benchmark, recognized by patients, healthcare professionals, and institutions as a trustworthy entity and a guarantee of quality care.
- Any reference to regulations shall be understood as referring to Colombian regulations or those that may be applicable.
This act of adoption is signed by the legal representative on the ninth (9th) day of February, 2024.
