2018 – Present
In 2018, a dedicated facility was built in the municipality of Envigado, allowing for comprehensive care through the following services: Outpatient consultation, Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy, High-dose-rate Brachytherapy, Surgery, Hospitalization, Intensive and Intermediate Care, Palliative Care, Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Bone Marrow Transplant, Emergency Services, and Pathology.

2011 – 2018
In 2011, the healthcare provider moved to the 8th floor of the Torre Fundadores in the city center, expanding its service offering to include surgery and hospitalization in partnership with Clínica Medellín del Centro.

2008 – 2011
Centro Oncológico de Antioquia S.A.S. was founded on August 19, 2008, by an interdisciplinary group of oncology and engineering professionals committed to offering their knowledge and human warmth to patients with neoplastic diseases. The facility was located in the Santa María de los Ángeles neighborhood in El Poblado, Medellín, and focused on providing subspecialized outpatient care in hemato-oncology and palliative care, chemotherapy administration, and home care services.

Functions and Duties
The Centro Oncológico de Antioquia (COA) provides high-complexity health services to members of the Health Promoting Entities (EPS) and private patients, within the parameters and principles established by law, and under the principles of quality and efficiency. It operates with administrative, technical, and financial autonomy, promoting free competition in its activities, providing timely, sufficient, and truthful information to users, and avoiding any abuse of a dominant position within the system.
The execution of agreements or arrangements aimed at preventing, restricting, or distorting free competition in health services, or preventing, restricting, or interrupting the provision of health services, is strictly prohibited.
We comply with the requirements set forth in the regulations issued by the Ministry of Health and other competent authorities, including an accounting system that allows recording the costs of the services provided.
